Lotterywest Secures Vendor Market Research With Way2Go Appointment

Lotterywest, the Lotteries Commission of Western Australia, has appointed the consultancy firm Way2Go Consulting to conduct research into the lottery technology vendor market.

Appointed following a competitive procurement process, Way2Go will review technology vendor capabilities across the globe and will begin contacting potential suppliers within the next fortnight.

It comes as Lotterywest aims to expand its long-term plans and the technological demands that they require, with the use of technology becoming ever-present in the lottery industry.

Commenting on the contract, Robin Bowler, Managing Director of Way2Go, remarked:

“The Lotterywest team have put in a tremendous amount of work so far, to identify the long-term priorities for its business, its players, and its community, as far as its technical requirements are concerned.

So we are delighted to be appointed as Lotterywest’s research partner and to assist in the achievement of their long-term aims. Our highly-qualified team of consultants will be reaching out to the vendor community very soon on Lotterywest’s behalf, and we look forward to working with those potential suppliers, and with the Lotterywest team, as we execute the project.”

Currently, Lotterywest holds a contract with Intralot until 2026 for the operating system and services, highlights of which are the introduction of the Lotos open architecture platform and advanced retail terminals.
